Got this deal the last time. Wish I had kept the box for a return. My Soundcore Ace portable Bluetooth speaker has better sound quality. Save your money, IMO.
The more favorable reviews on Amazon are boosted by the 3.1 version with a subwoofer, which does seem to get better reviews. They lump them in together.

ya, but you can only expect so much from a $29.. maybe if it was $100, then those reviews would be justified...
Completely agree.
$62 on Amazon (3rd party)
And more favorable reviews (3.9/5)

Been down the budget soundbar road a few times and it always ends up at the return line. The only one I've ever kept was the Klipsch that wally cleared out for $50.00 which is now my garage bluetooth speaker.

I got this for that exact purpose. While it's on and working it's great and mounted on the wall takes up less desk space than my old speakers.
However, it's annoying as hell that the speakers go to sleep after a short time of inactivity, but even more annoying is that the volume resets to low when they go to sleep. So if you don't use them for 10 minutes or so you have to turn it back on and then adjust the volume (max volume isn't that loud).
I think it's okay for $29 but I'll likely replace it with a better one later in the year.
unless you have only 29 dollars in your bank, buy something better for around 90. A vizio for example. This soundbar is cheap but will make you kick yourself everytime you here the sound quality. Reminds what a cheapo you are.

But reviews are 2.9/5 with 69 reviews.
Might be worth a gamble for many

Feel that. When they're bad, they're bad.
